The purpose of the Disciplinary Committee is to preserve a safe environment for all members of District II by adjudicating red cards and claims that members have not adhered to the Rules, Laws, Policies, Procedures, Guidelines, and Spirit of the League. The Committee is bound by the Rules, Laws, Policies, Procedures, Guidelines, and Spirit of District II, WSYSA, USSF, and FIFA. The Committee cannot proceed with any formal action until written documentation has been received from a member of WSYSA District II.

The District II Disciplinary Committee meets weekly throughout the season at Redmond High School (17272 NE 104th, Redmond) beginning at 7:30 PM every Thursday. It consists of one representative each from EYSA, LWYSA, NYSA and SnVYSA. The Chair votes only in the event of a tie.
Penalties for infractions of the Rules are in accordance with the Rule 605 Disciplinary Penalty Code. Persons who receive red cards may attend the next District II Disciplinary Hearing following the game in which the card was issued to be heard in their defiance. Official determination of action by the Committee will be issued at the Hearing. If player receives a Red card in a game for which there is no Hearing scheduled prior to the next game and they do not contest the card, the player may sit out the next game and have the referee sign the game roster to that effect. The signed roster is to be presented to the Committee at the Hearing to obtain credit for not playing in the game.
EXCEPT IF THE CARD WAS ISSUED FOR REFEREE ABUSE.
In cases of Referee Abuse the person receiving the card is expected to attend the next session of the WSYSA Disciplinary Committee at the WSYSA Office 33710 9th Ave. S Suite 8 Federal Way, WA 98003 every Thursday evening. WSYSA can be reached at 253-4-SOCCER or .
Persons receiving red cards will not be contacted or reminded to appear by either District II or WSYSA. If the player chooses not to appear, the player will receive a suspension based on the written information provided to the Committee. Suspension notices will be mailed immediately following the meeting. Suspensions are on the same scale as indicated in the Rule 605.
A person may appeal their penalty within 48 hours of receipt of the written notification of suspension. All appeals are conducted on written evidence, with no verbal testimony allowed. Request for appeal must be in accordance with Rule 602 procedures in writing and be accompanied by a $50 cashier's check or money order made payable to WSYSA. The appeal is to be sent to the WSYSA Office care of the Appeal Committee.
